Founded in 1959, the museum aims to preserve the history of the county through exhibitions, lectures, and community events.

A drive through the county will reveal a varied mix of housing types, spanning from condos to single family homes and everything in between. Things to Do

If you time it right, you can enjoy a family-friendly day at the Maryland State Fair, a nearly two-week event that begins in late August. The fair is complete with daily home arts, farm and garden, livestock and horse exhibits, rides, games, live concerts, and entertainment. 

For an adults-evening out, head over to Guinness Open Gate Brewery. Located in Halethorpe, this site features an experimental brewery, taproom, and restaurant. Guests can also participate in tours or tastings for a more personal experience.
